things i have learned:

1. it doesn't matter how much you want a baby horse to get on a trailer, it will not do so until it wants to.

2. baby horses don't want to get on trailers.

3. no matter the size of your mule, it is never too large to crawl under the fence.

4. if your seasoned competition horse has "been there and done that", he has never been there to see a miniature mule crawl under the fence and run around.

5. sometimes it is okay to admit defeat.

i know i said i was finished with this earlier today... but i couldn't leave without proclaiming my love for greg dulli. i am going to see him on wednesday and i fully intend on receiving a kiss on the lips from mr. dulli, if not more. if all goes well, he will take me away from here and cart my ass around all tour. maybe i'll even get to go to japan!

life is weird. for instance, tonight i am going with my ex-boyfriend to see belle and sebastian in detroit. this has nothing to do with why i hate everything. i'm looking forward to the show... looking forward to seeing friends and hearing songs that i love.

my mom is the biggest bitch in the world, though... and she just keeps getting bitchier! she is making me miserable... trying to finish things up with the barn (which is beautiful... i'll post pictures soon!) and she totally flips out on me. what's with people flipping out on me? i think she should appreciate that she almost lost her youngest daughter in a car accident almost two weeks ago... but no.
